Would you like my blog to review your book or CD? I'm always open to doing reviews of material that meshes with my interests. My site receives thousands of unique visits per day and is a clearinghouse of recent news and events from a modern Pagan perspective.

Books. Generally speaking I am interested in books on religion and modern Paganism that go beyond the obvious overview or the easy sell. I am not a fan of spell-books or rehashed information on Wicca (unless you think you are the second coming of Starhawk, then by all means try to win me over). Sociology, autobiography, anthropology, theology, history, and analysis of pop-culture are areas I'm particularly interested in. Otherwise, if you read my blog and think I would just love your book you are welcome to give it a shot.

Music. I'm a professional DJ, I have done radio and club gigs (heck I even did a wedding once) and I'm a passionate fan of music. I'm also very picky and a bit of a snob, so be warned. I like all sorts of genres of music but I prefer stuff that is challenging and fresh (define that however you wish). Keep in mind that I think a good chunk of the stuff passed off as "Pagan" music is awful third-rate filk. Beyond that I'm pretty open. I like everything from the dark ambient ritual-noise of Hexentanz to the bagpipe-stomp of Corvus Corax.

Disclaimer. I won't send stuff back, I won't promise to review it if I don't like the material or if it doesn't inspire me. I won't take down a review you don't like. I will review as time and space on my blog allows. I usually try to acknowledge receipt of a book, and will send out a note once my review has been posted.

Still with me? Great! Send me an e-mail (jpitzl at wildhunt dot org) and I'll send you my current mailing address.
