BIO,
DJing, and WRITINGS:
My
name is Jason Pitzl-Waters. I was born and raised in
Omaha,
Nebraska. This was in the 70s and 80s before cool
indie-rock bands started hanging out there. I currently
live in Champaign-Urbana,
Illinois but I am relocating to Milwaukee,
Wisconsin very, very soon.
Like most DJs I have had a life-long love of all kinds of
music. While some kids dreamed of being a rock star and playing
in a band I dreamed of being on the radio and playing music
I liked for other people. Eventually through a series of fortunate
events I have been able to live this dream to an extent I
never thought possible. I feel blessed every time I get to
spin no matter the circumstance or the type of music the time
and place demands.
I'm
happily married, a pragmatic vegan, a believer in nonviolent
techniques, a big fan of Egon
Schiele and Gustav
Klimt, a step-father, and my Sun is in Cancer.
